The Polochic Evictions CounteractionIn this session, the representatives of the evicted communities will give their testimonies of what happened in the evictions, and discuss the work being done since then. Heather Teague will discuss the work of Proyecto Contra-Desalojos en el Polochic with the Q’eqchi’ communities, including the Precautionary Measures granted by the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights, and Mayra Gómez and Bret Thiele will discuss the case according to the framework of international human rights and gender
